Playing around with the Arduino
Today we were provided with a Arduino and some components such as LED-lights, buttons and a photoresistor.
It was fairly easy to get things going as the Arduino API is very user friendly. We made the LED-lamp blink upon button presses before we attemped some more advanced setups using the photoresistor. The latter idea was to make the LED flash accordingly with the current light intensity in the room but that was quite more difficult.
For those of us in the group that never have programmed an Arduino or Rasberry PI before it was really fun to see what physical actions our program could invoke.
All in all the session provided us with some good inspiration into what possible functions our final product can have.
